Road Kerbs & Edging Kerbs

Half-batter, bull-nose, splay and dish-channel kerbs—straight and radius—laid to stringline or total-station control, with correct haunching and falls.

Traffic Islands (Precast & In-Situ)

Factory-made units or formed on site, complete with ducts for signage/lighting, tactile paving tie-ins and durable concrete finishes.

Trief Kerbs (High-Containment)

Specialist installation of Trief profiles for improved vehicle containment and asset protection. Heavy units handled with certified lifting gear and scissor-lift attachments.

Drop Crossings for Driveways

Highway-compliant vehicle crossings: remove existing kerbs, adjust levels, lay transition/radius units and reinstate footway and edges.

How We Work (Our Process)

  • 1. Survey & setting-out - Confirm lines, radii, levels and tie-ins from drawings; check services.
  • 2. Excavate & bed - Trench prep, sub-base and concrete bed placed to spec and fall.
  • 3. Place & align - Kerbs set to stringline/laser; joints tight, radii smooth, upstands checked.
  • 4. Haunch & finish - Structural backing/haunching placed and tooled; weep holes/drainage where needed.
  • 5. Interfaces - Tie into channels, tactile paving, crossings and island furniture.
  • 6. Reinstatement & QA - Make good surfacing/verges; provide as-built notes and handover.

  • Kerb types: Half-batter, bull-nose, splay, dish channel, Trief high-containment.
  • Units & sizes: Standard precast and radius units; specials for tight radii and transitions.
  • Foundations: Concrete bed/haunch to highway spec; dowels and tie-bars where required.
  • Equipment: Vacuum/scissor lifts, certified slings and grabs for safe handling of heavy units (e.g., ~220 kg Trief units).
  • Finishes & ties: Granite kerbs, sett edgings, tactile paving, channel blocks, ACOs.
  • Docs & compliance: Street works (NRSWA) licensed operatives; method statements, lifting plans, inspection records.
